AVTA in Collaboration with VET Now and ACVLA held a one-day workshop in Naivasha to sensitize the Veterinary Paraprofessionals on new innovative technologies that aim to digitize animal health services.
The new Mobile Application aims to improve animal health service delivery by linking farmers with veterinarians, enhancing record keeping, maintains important events and prompts the farmer and veterinarian on upcoming events as well as enhancing the process of clinical diagnosis by veterinarians.
With such technology available to farmers and veterinarians, we hope that animal health will be improved with results to increased production and higher economic gain. It also plays a key role in ensuring Kenya and Africa at large is food secure and is working towards economic empowerment and poverty reduction.
